Title: Travelling HVAC Controls Technician
Location: Anywhere – must be with 30 minutes to a MAJOR airport as they will traveling often. This job requires 80%+ travel via airplane.
Schedule: M-F, start time is 7am - 7:30am and work an 8 hour shift. OT varies depending on the job and project manager. (Could work 0 hours OT on some jobs and 10 hours OT on others)

Insight Global is looking to hire a travelling HVAC Controls Technician to work for a large client. In this role, you will primarily be working at data centers and pharmaceutical clients, but wil go wherever the need is. You will deal with the elements of running through point to points, calibrations, functional and integrated system testing, coordination with the project managers, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This position has a high volume of travel (around 80% and via airplane). You must be willing to travel and flexible to work long hours if needed. Travel and hotel accommodation is covered by the company
Must Haves:
- Reliable car and active drivers license
- Comfortable travelling 80% of the year via plane (all cost covered)
- Close proximity to airport
- 2 years of HVAC Controls Experience
- Experience with PLCs
- Experience with BAS: Building Automation Systems
- Familiar with blueprints
- Computer savvy including Microsoft Excel
- Must have commercial/industrial experience (not residential)
- Pass drug and BGC
