K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Game Presentation & Promotions Assistant. This two-year Assistant position is part of the external unit of ticket sales & service, marketing, licensing, and game presentation & promotions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing promotions and game entertainment at assigned K-State Athletics events, with a focus on increasing revenue, growing attendance, and maximizing the home game atmosphere. The Assistant will oversee the development, coordination, and implementation of promotions plans for assigned sports and programs, including women's basketball, volleyball, baseball, women's soccer, and the Junior Wildcats Club.
This position is On‑site. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree by employment start date in marketing, advertising, public relations, sports marketing, or a related field
- Commitment to the two‑year position
- Proven ability to multi‑task
- Strong computer skills, including thorough knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, and Adobe Design programs
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a demanding environment, prioritizing job duties to complete assignments on time
- Valid driver’s license at all times and availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as required
- Experience working in a collegiate athletic marketing office
- Experience as a show caller/producer and script writing
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator)
