pbABOUT THE PROJECT/b/p pThe Developer Experience (DevX) Standards and Controls function is building a platform for control owners and development teams to manage/view their compliance with a range of software development controls./p pThe candidate would be working on Kotlin and Java-based web applications and APIs. There are 2-3 applications and PoCs we are hiring for. Exact candidate allocation will depend on their experience and fit. All have microservice architecture built using modern coding techniques./p p /p pbYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES/b/p ul liCollaborate with developers, testers and the wider organization to build and run products/li liDesign, develop implement back-end features as per backlog/priority with a small element of front-end development./li liAll apps use a simple UI framework so not strictly front-end development./li liCollaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features./li liProactively work with customers to resolve their issues and respond to feature requests./li liBuild APIs and microservices/li liWork in an agile CI/CD environment to deliver rapid iterations at a sustained velocity/li liBe an active member of a team, participating in peer reviews and testing others code through automated test scripting/li /ul p /p pbSKILLS EXPERIENCE WE REQUIRE/b/p ul liExperience in Kotlin (or Java with willingness to learn Kotlin)/li liExperienced in at least two or three of the following: API development, SQL/databases, HTML/JavaScript/li liLots of experience of working with microservices/li liStrong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills/li liExperience in working with Agile including the use of Jira/ Confluence./li liGood interpersonal skills/li liStrong English skills, written and spoken/li /ul p /p pbOPTIONAL/NICE TO HAVE/b/p Good working knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure and GCP
