We are seeking a motivated, hands‑on Assistant Manager to support daily operations within a fast‑paced manufacturing/warehouse environment. This role is ideal for a strong operational leader who thrives in structured environments, enjoys developing people, and is passionate about safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will play a key leadership role in driving performance, supporting production goals, developing teams, and ensuring operational excellence across the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business plan objectives and ensure departmental goals are achieved
  • Manage manpower planning, resource allocation, and budgeting for efficient operations
  • Achieve daily production targets and operational KPIs
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and reporting standards
  • Lead departmental projects and new model initiatives
  • Ensure daily and monthly operational reports are completed on time
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes and activities
Leadership & People Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop Supervisors, section leaders, and associates
  • Serve as a role model in safety, quality, attendance, housekeeping, and professionalism
  • Support the Associate Training Program and NC Circle Program
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and disciplinary processes
  • Promote a positive, high‑performance team culture
Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain regulatory, compliance, and operational standards
  • Monitor safety performance and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Proactively identify risks and implement preventative solutions
Communication & Collaboration
  • Maintain professional, consistent communication with customers and associates
  • Collaborate effectively with peers, leadership, and cross‑functional teams
  • Present project updates and operational information to management
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
  • Post‑high school qualification preferred (Operations Management, Business, or related field)
  • or equivalent practical experience
Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years in warehouse, manufacturing, or operations management
  • Proven leadership experience in production or industrial environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive performance
