Peakstone Law Group is a growing Colorado law firm expanding its probate and estate planning practice, and we are seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to help lead and grow our probate division.

This role is designed for an experienced probate attorney who wants more than just a caseload — someone who wants to play a meaningful role in shaping the direction and success of a small but growing practice.

The Opportunity

This position is a senior associate role with leadership responsibilities, with the opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of the firm’s probate and estate planning practice.

The attorney in this role will:

  • Manage probate administration and related matters from intake through resolution
  • Serve as a senior attorney within the probate and estate planning practice
  • Help guide the development and growth of the probate division
  • Work closely with firm leadership on case strategy and operational improvements

As the firm continues to grow, this position is intended to evolve into a practice leadership role within the probate division.

Responsibilities
  • Manage probate administration matters from opening through closing
  • Handle contested probate matters when necessary
  • Advise personal representatives, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries
  • Appear in probate court hearings and related proceedings
  • Maintain strong client relationships and communication
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to improve systems, workflows, and practice operations
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the firm’s probate practice
QualificationsRequired
  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado
  • 4+ years of probate or estate administration experience
  • Ability to independently manage probate matters
  • Strong courtroom presence and client communication skills
Preferred
  • Experience handling contested probate matters
  • Interest in leadership and helping grow a practice area
  • Strong organizational and case management skills
