This role sits within Aon’s Corporate Finance team, part of the U.S. Aon Capital Advisory group. The team advises insurance and reinsurance clients on capital strategy, corporate finance transactions, and complex strategic decisions. The position is client facing and focused on evaluating the financial and valuation impact of capital, reinsurance, restructuring, and M&A initiatives.
Role Responsibilities- Support execution of reinsurance, capital markets, and M&A transactions including new company formations, loss portfolio transfers, and strategic restructurings
- Build and maintain detailed financial and valuation models to assess returns, capital adequacy, and transaction outcomes
- Prepare client presentations and deliverables for senior management, boards, regulators, rating agencies, and investors
- Analyze client portfolios to identify capital optimization and reinsurance solutions
- Partner with senior bankers, brokers, and clients to develop and evaluate strategic alternatives
- Support transaction marketing, structuring, and negotiations including pitch materials, term sheets, and transaction memoranda
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transactions progress on time and meet client objectives
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial services or (re)insurance, preferably in corporate finance, FP&A, or accounting
- Strong financial modeling, accounting, and finance fundamentals
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and client management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Experience with capital markets, reinsurance structures, or M&A transactions
- Coding experience such as Python or R
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, version control, or reproducible modeling practice
- Exposure to rating agency or regulatory capital frameworks

Salary & BenefitsThe salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150,000 - $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
