AWS Data Platform Experience - Working with AWS services to ingest, transform, and support analytics workloads.
Snowflake & SQL - Designing, querying, and optimizing data in Snowflake for analyst consumption.

This role is open due to a temporary internal resource shift tied to a special initiative. The contractor will backfill to maintain continuity and delivery.
JD:
Role Overview

Partner with a Product Manager and Analytics Consultant in the Data & Analytics space
Build and support ETL pipelines to create curated data products for analysts
Work independently on smaller efforts and pair on larger initiatives
Consult with analysts as they explore and adopt AWS services
Primary development in Python, AWS, and Snowflake

Tech Stack

Core: Python, AWS, Snowflake, SQL, GitHub
Limited exposure: Informatica (not a core platform)

Ideal Profile

Strong experience with Python, AWS, and GitHub
Nice to have: API-based data extraction, Snowflake, data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin)
Comparable or transferable experience considered

Team & Collaboration

Team of 4-6 engineers
Highly collaborative, cross-functional environment
Regular interaction with multiple enterprise teams

Work Details

Hybrid: minimum 3 days onsite per week
Senior-level role targeting 8+ years of experience
Backend data engineering focused (no dashboards or front-end analytics)
