As a rapidly growing firm of 140-150+ employees, they are seeking a full‑time Data Engineer fully onsite out of their Greenwich, CT office. This is for someone really looking to take that next step.

Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable SQL pipelines for collecting, processing and storing large volumes of financial data using technologies such as Snowflake, dbt and Workato;
- Write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for data retrieval and analysis;
- Manage policies and processes for data governance and data quality;
- Create and maintain documentation for data process, data lineage and data dictionaries;
- Build dashboards using visualization tools such a Power BI; and
- Stay up to date on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies across the data engineering space and integrate into the platform where applicable.
- Self‑motivated problem‑solver with strong relationship building skills
- Extensive experience in database design and SQL development
- In‑depth understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning and cost optimization strategies
- Strong familiarity with modern data orchestration tools, preferably dbt, Workato
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database design principles
- Experience working with financial data
- bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
