Introduction

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles, focusing on perception systems and sensors.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with low/high voltage circuits, Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS), and safe troubleshooting practices.
- Understanding of hardware and software systems architecture and communications in an operations setting.
- Ability to comprehend schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector end views/pinout.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Experience with electric vehicle technology.
- Experience with remotely supporting vehicle troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics tools.
- Experience with Linux & Python-based programming systems for fleet-level data processing.
- Familiarity with networking, TCP, and socket programming.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations for sensor-related fleet issues.
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through comprehensive log review to identify and resolve fleet issues.
- Develop, update, and maintain a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for technicians.
- Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new sensor components.
- Design and implement diagnostic procedures to streamline future troubleshooting processes.
- Collaborate with engineering design teams to enhance tooling and improve issue detection capabilities.
- Develop and implement effective countermeasures across the fleet to prevent recurring issues.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement in vehicle performance and reliability.
- Availability for overtime as needed, with advanced notice provided.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the U.S. to support various operational locations.
