Specialist Operational Buyer/Planner – On‑site, Stratford, Wisconsin
Responsibilities- Manage assigned commodity spend using a Total Cost of Ownership methodology, considering price, quality, delivery performance, and lifecycle costs.
- Own the relationship for the assigned supply base, ensuring alignment with Company goals regarding Delivery, Quality, Inventory, Cost, and Risk.
- Conduct timely negotiations with the assigned supply base to support the Company cost management process as needed.
- Create, maintain, and communicate inventory stocking and replenishment strategy for the assigned supply base through data collection/analysis, internal collaboration, and market intelligence.
- Daily tactical management of assigned relationships, including purchase order creation/maintenance, expedites, and date acknowledgement.
- Maintain system data, including vendor onboarding, part‑number creation/maintenance, and planning parameter maintenance for all serviced suppliers and replenishment locations.
- Participate as a member of a Project Team and/or Cross‑Functional Team as required and other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of purchasing, supply‑chain, and sourcing fundamental processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Working knowledge of ERP functionality as it relates to job responsibilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills focused on teamwork and servicing internal and external customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to think critically.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position is in Stratford, Wisconsin. Majority of time is spent on site.
